The afternoon light filtered through the blinds, casting stripes across the living room floor. Eleanor sat on the couch, sipping a cup of chamomile tea. The gentle warmth of the tea spread through her, relaxing her muscles. Her husband, Robert, was out at a conference, leaving her with the house to herself.
